It's been years since I've seen your family but I remember what a nice kind man he was. Your family is in my prayers. RIP Bud.

Dad,
All of our wonderful memories have just flooded over me these past few days. How blessed all of us kids, grandkids and great grandkids are to have you as our larger than life dad. You were so loving, kind hearted and best pannycake maker in the world!!! We will do them again in Heaven.
Thank you for loving me as well, for the patience you had for me, my smart mouth and all the help with the dreaded homework.
God gave me more than a super hero when he gave me to you.
I love you so much!

My Uncle Bud was basically my grandpa. I grew up in OKC and my grandpa (his brother) was a thousand miles away. My most funny memory of him was when I was about 8 or 9. I put all my important things (a barbie and a pair of pjs) in a pillow case. I ran away from home. He stopped and picked me up. Asked where I was going and I said I don't know I am not allowed to cross the road. He said hop in I will take you where you need to be. Of course he took me home to my mom. Well God showed up and took him home now! He will be safe and loved as always. We will miss you!

Big Daddy has always had such a special place in my heart. His big hugs, his amazing stories, and his helpful heart. While in school if I ever needed help I’d call him up and he’d help over the phone. He was an amazing builder. He actually built the bed I slept on elementary-middle school. Every time I was around him, he’d have me sing for him. Knowing he’s in the arms of Jesus gives me comfort. He is already so missed❤️ I love you Big Daddy.

Our Big Daddy would do ANYTHING for us, he was our biggest cheerleader in anything we did...even some of the dumb things. He loved us all so much, there was never any doubt about that. He was the best joke teller, he loved to make people laugh. He is the greatest example of what a man should be. We are incredibly lucky to have had him as our Big Daddy! We love you so so much Big Daddy! 💙

I love you so much Big Daddy, thank you for making me the person I am today. I promise your values and love will live on through the boys and I. Thank you for your service to our country and for passing that legacy on to me.
