Peggy became a member of the Sunnybrook Christian Church until 2014, when Dale passed away unexpectedly in 2013. Peggy then traveled south of the Red River to be near her middle son, Scott Croston, and his wife, Barbara, in Houston, Texas. In Houston, Peggy began official retirement as a resident of the independent and then assisted living centers at the Parkway Place.
