Sibyl Faye Brian

Sibyl F. Brian, 95, of OKC, passed away April 29, 2018 surrounded by her family. Sibyl was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She lived a full energetic life until her passing. She was an active member of the Village United Methodist Church where she volunteered her time to mobile meals, UMW and various other church activities. Sibyl served on the Oklahoma Flower Show National Judges Council and was an Honorary Judge for the OK State Fair. Sibyl had many hobbies including woodcarving, painting and was a gardening enthusiast. Her gardening skills were published several times in the newspaper and her garden was named a National Wildlife Sanctuary. Sibyl was survived by her children, Richard (Karen) Brian of Ok., Terry (Annette) Brian of Ca., Virgil Brian of Ok, and Karen (Darrell) Jett of Ok. She was a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sibyl has touched many lives and will be missed dearly. Sibyl is once again united with her husband, Richard Brian. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Village United Methodist Church.
