so many memories with Joel, all good ones. He was one of a kind and I'm sure going to miss our late night chats on Facebook and poking each other. We also played "tag" a lot!
Hey,'re IT!
til we meet again,

Joel and I never rode just the two of us all that many times, but they were always enjoyable. I remember one Friday night we rode up to slow ride road house, staring into the sun all the way there. Even with Dark riding glasses it was hard to see. Not sure how fast we were going by the time we got there, but from almost being blinded, and having a head ache, we were ready to stop. Never heard a complaint from Joel the whole night. As I said, even though we never rode just the two of us many times, I'm going to miss you MY FRIEND. This is a super hard one for me. RIP my Brother, You were an OUTSTANDING Human being, and a Faithful Friend....Much Sadness

Joel and his family have been my friends since about 1985. The Koger's, Wilkes and O'Brien's all lived on Haven Lane in Olathe. On Memorial Day weekend, for several years, we all went to Bagnall Dam together. I haven't seen Joel for about 10 years but we always kept in touch. He was a great guy and a good friend. R.I.P.
