Thinking about you, Charlie and Marla, during this time of loss for you. I know of your mother through your stories of her and her obituary. She sounds like a person of accomplishment, fun, and service. Know she will be missed by the community. May the grace of God's love and care surround you all. Sharon

Charlie, Marla, and Laura, I am so sorry for your loss. Charline was an amazing woman. The first time I met her while in Tennessee, she immediately made me feel like one of the family, like a second son. She was gracious, loving, funny yet firm. You always knew who was in charge when she was around. I know she loved each of you more than life. She had that personna about her that I will never forget. Always, making sure that when Charlie visited at Christmas, he brought back the custard that she had picked up for me. The small things like that made her the loving woman that we all knew. I know she had it rough over the last year or so and know that she is not suffering anymore and looking down on all of us with that look and waving that finger, telling us to behave. You are all in my prayers.
