OBITUARY
Alan Fischel Lazaroff
December 28, 1931 – January 12, 2021
Born December 28, 1931 in St. Louis to Joseph and Sarah (Glazer) Lazaroff. Alan was an Air Force veteran who served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956. After attending Washington University in St. Louis, he worked for many years as a men’s clothing salesman at Famous-Barr department store.
He married the love of his life, Florence Jean Kraus, in 1958 and was married for over 50 years until her passing in 2010. He was the dear father (and father-in-law) of Jerold E. Lazaroff (Julie), Dennis M. Lazaroff (Dr. Elizabeth) and Scott M. Lazaroff (Julie). He has seven grandchildren — Nicholas, Alexander, Nathan, Spencer, Carolyn, Ruby and Levi. He is the dear brother of the late Harold Lazaroff and was a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He will be missed by all.
A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 17 at 11:30 AM CT. The service will be available via Live Stream for those that are interested in participating.

Before starting his own family, your Dad was more a part of ours than perhaps he was as the years went by.
My best memory of him was standing along the baselines watching me play little league ball. As you might expect, he was always encouraging in his quiet way.
Your Dad was always kind to me. A very dignified and respectful man. I'm so sorry for your loss.
