She was the last of seven daughters born to William and Goldie (Hayes) Fuhrmann.
Alice married David J. Ogborn in 1946. David predeceased her on Dec. 8, 2015.
She enjoyed doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading books and canning vegetables grown in their garden, baking — especially her famous apple cake and taking Sunday drives. But the greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even her great-great-grandchildren.
Alice is survived by her son, David C. Ogborn, Whitehall; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephew, Mary (John) Hoffman, Kathy (Clifford) Parks and Nancy (Mark) Edwards and George (Carolyn)v Thies; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by son, William Tracy Ogborn and daughter, Carol Ogborn.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, in Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin, with the Rev. Stephen D. Fournier officiating.
