Carl E. Docton, age 58, passed away on March 23, 2013. Carl was a retired Master Deputy Sheriff with over 35 years of service in law enforcement, 4 years with the Maitland Police Department and 31 years with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Carl loved to ride his motorcycle, loved to R.V. and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Carmie; father of Paul (Eloisa) Docton, Jamie Lynn Ruiter and April Joy Barnes, brother-in-law of James Giamella and grandfather of Claire Docton, Natalie Docton, Hunter Barnes, Charles Barnes, Gabriel Brown, Emily Ruiter and Alyssa Ruiter. He is also survived by his father, Alvin Docton, his stepmother, Janet Docton and his mother-in-law, Florence Giamella.
