Garnet M. Forrest

Garnet M. Forrest, 96, passed away on August 28, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Dayton, Pennsylvania and was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Forrest. She loved THE LORD with all her heart. Over the years, her interests were singing in the choir, gardening, playing piano, and an avid walker. Her daughters and her grandchildren were the love of her life. Mrs. Forrest is survived by her 2 daughters: Stephanie (Daniel) Hunter and Darlene Forrest; step-son, Donald B. Forrest; 2 grandchildren: Bradley T. (Courtney Weatherby-Hunter) Hunter and Brett S. Hunter. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park with Pastor Milton Dykes officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
