Angela Kefallinos Chick, 91 left this earth to be with her savior, Jesus, on September 22, 2020. Angela was born on the Greek Island of Zakinthos in 1929. As a child during World War II in Greece, Angela's life was a difficult one, as she faced and overcame many challenges. Later, as a young adult, she traveled by boat to America, where she worked with her Uncle Nick Spinos in his ice cream parlor in Syracuse, New York. She met her future husband, Anthony Chick, through relatives. Their relationship flourished, and they later married in Orlando, FL.
Angela was a true Christian. As one of the first Greek families in Orlando, she helped to establish what would later become Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, where she continued to be a member and serve for over 50 years. She was devoted to helping her fellow parishioners, including with baking and cooking for special events for many years.
Angela's husband, Tony, pre-deceased her in 1988, and her oldest daughter, Dora, passed in 2017, leaving her to be cared for by her surviving daughter, Georgia.
Angela had a full life with many friends and family filling her days with the joys and struggles, happiness and heartache of daily life. She was a selfless woman, always giving of herself and putting others first. She will be rewarded in heaven for her amazing acts of kindness all throughout her life, and she will be fondly missed and remembered as a beautiful, kind, and caring soul.
Angela is survived by her daughter, Georgia Goldstein, granddaughter Nina Lawrence, great grandchildren, Landon Lacey and Rylan Lacey, her sister Katina Mantzakos in Syracuse and her sister, Thespina Plessa in Zakinthos, Greece. God rest your sweet soul and may you sit next to your beloved husband, Tony, and your daughter, Dora. God has surrounded you in all his glory and love. Rest in peace.
