Mami, you were an amazing mother, kind soul and resilient spirit. You taught us strength, faith, the bond of family , perseverance and compassion. I simply could not have been given a better human being to call my mother. Thank you for being my best friend and forever champion. You will live within my heart and spirit forever.

I can't, in all honesty, say I knew Carmencita well, and that's something I regret. I know she'd had a troubled life, but also a blessed one. Blessed with the love and support of family and friends and the kind of strength that would carry her through the difficult times.

I'll remember her smile, I'll remember her spirit and I'll always remember the way she used to say "Reechard!"

God bless you and keep you, and may you finally find the peace you so richly deserve.
