Mischelle was born at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, in June 1945. At the age of five, she moved to Orlando, where she lived, worked, and raised her own family. As a 1963 Boone High School graduate, she furthered her studies and later earned an undergraduate and graduate degree from National-Louis University and a Mini-MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Mischelle had a keen mind for business and had a successful, fulfilling career, even leaving her mark as one the first employees at Walt Disney World in the early 1970’s. She later joined AT&T Global Real Estate, where she managed real estate, construction, and commercial properties in the Southeastern Regions. After retiring from AT&T in 1998, she managed commercial properties for Lincoln Property Company, Ginn Development Company, and Rollins College. She treasured the many lifelong friends she met along the way.
She had an incredibly positive outlook on life and left lasting impressions on those she met with her cheerful, optimistic, and friendly personality. She was creative, loved animals, going to the movies (and eating their popcorn), dancing, listening to music, was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed for her smile, laugh, advice, joy, creativity, and most of all, for her love.
Mischelle was a devoted wife for 53 years and a very proud mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Jo Baldwin-Hutchins and Philip Hutchins.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Raymond Jamieson II, son Raymond Jamieson III (Christy), daughter Tiffany Jamieson-Ellis (Shawn), grandchildren Coral, R.J., Chase, Pierce, Sierra, and Kaley, her sisters Lauren Hayes and Leslie Wheeler, aunt Janice Baldwin-Shelton, and many other extended family members.
A memorial service to honor Mischelle will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 1 PM at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill. 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817, with a celebration of life gathering to follow at Mischelle and Raymond’s home.
