She was born in Hyannis, MA on May 15, 1964. She is the daughter of Rebecca Morris Whiting of Truro and the late George Whiting. She was a commercial fisherwoman, an occupation in which she loved. She was happiest when she was camping, fishing, boating, and gardening. “May the flats always welcome you with warm sun, low tides, full baskets Holly.”
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her loving daughter Heather Hedderig, two step-children and their spouses, three grandchildren, her brother Joseph Robert Whiting of S. Orleans, and sister Heidi Anne Root of Brewster. She was the sister of the late Victoria Anne Whiting.
