Having met Bob only a few times and his beautiful wife many times what a class act this family is. After meeting his daughter Anne who moved here to care for him after her Mother died, we here at the East Orleans Post Office knew we had met someone special. While her Father Bob always wanted a couple of candies from our goodies bowl, Anne was always so nice and funny and genuine. We so adore her here at the PO and I want to express my very deep sympathy to this amazing family. Knowing he had a long beautiful life, losing a parent is such a huge void, my thoughts are with you and all your extended family. You did right by your Father, Anne, he had the best care on the planet and that's because you truly are
We are all thinking of you

Bob Flaherty and Paul Kelleher hired me as a part-time typing and billing clerk at their location on Summer St. I was a full time student at Worcester State College, studying to be an elementary school teacher. Both of them were an inspiration to me.
Bob taught me how to use the electric typewriter- I was so used to the old LC Smith that I used at home for my homework. Bob was in the office most of the time and was the dispatcher. Paul was "on the road" meeting the business contacts.
Bob was always an inspiration to me: he taught me honesty ,fairness, integrity, hard
work, and respect toward others. Paul, his late brother-in-law, shared the same values.
I tell all of Bob's family and friends: "May God's Light Shine Upon This Very Special Man.

To all: Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad. My heart feels for all of you and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Your Dad was such a nice gentleman and I will always remember his generous laugh.

I pray that he is in a better place and together again with your Mom, and that your fond memories of them will carry you through your grief.

Dear Flahertys, Our entire family is so sorry for your loss. My mother recalls how he or Paul would drive my father on cold or rainy days over to Oftring and Earnst. So generous. They would let him park at the business and I would walk over to St. Johns on Temple for the 3 yrs I went there. I can always recall how funny those gentlemen were, and gregarious! Those were the days! Then the times at Popponesset, or in Worcester! Even better days! Sorry we've lost touch. Condolences on your Mom as well, as we missed that event. Your father was such an out going gentleman, friend and Dad. Hello to everyone and wish you the best during this sad time. I have another funeral in Holden Saturday to attend, otherwise I would be there to represent my family.
