Irene Constance Meincke

Irene passed away June 17, 2014 at Hospice with family at her side. She was married to her husband, Kenneth, for 65 years before he preceded her in death. The family moved to Florida over sixty years ago. Irene joined in activities earlier in life with her husband, family and friends at the Moose Club. Together, they enjoyed many family vacations to the mountains, Florida Keys and cruises. They delighted in the special 60th wedding anniversary cruise given to them by and with family.

Irene was a loving, kind and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and had a heart full of love and appreciation for God and Bible studies she had with her daughter. She had three children- a son, Kenneth Jr. and (wife) Heather of Orlando, son, Fred and (wife) Sylvia of Ormond Beach, and daughter, Marilyn and (husband) Grady Meeks. Irene had ten grandchildren, Fred Jr., Amanda, Melissa, Michael (2), Michelle (2), Grady Jr., Susette, and Marty. Also, were ten great-grandchildren, Fred III, Caty, Joshua, Taylor, Brook, Trevore, Amber, Kaylee, Cole and Hannah. Irene was loved and will be missed by many.

Philippians 1:3 “I thank my God always when I remember you.”
