Sincere condolances from the Duignan Family of Oshawa. Jerry was a class-mate of mine at St. Christopher's Catholic School. We also played many sports together in our younger years and Jerry introduced me to golf. Many fond schoolyard and sporting memories. Jerry was a great pleasure to grow-up with. To the Nemish family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Jerry. My sincere condolences.
My memories of Jerry go all the way back to our high school years at the Oshawa Catholic High. He was my very best friend back then. We double dated for years and still hung out until our children came along and then our lives changed. I am remembering all the great times we had together and so many laughs. He was an amazing person and had a heart of gold. He will always be in my heart and deeply missed.

While the focus at work was always the golfer, Jerry and I had no shortage of conversations in our too-few years together. Many of the subjects personal, other topics occasionally included golf and, more often, family, friends, and our shared pleasures of hot tubs and wine. We had a great many laughs and some tears along the way. I know I am not alone when I say I miss Jerry. Deepest sympathies to friends and family. Rest in peace, Jerry.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Jerry for the past 11 years. He was a dear friend to many people on Fralicks - so much more than a simple neighbour, he was family. Always willing to flash that fabulous smile, share a joke (often at the expense of his dear friend Mike), lend a hand, and stay positive in the face of the life hurdles we are all too often faced with.
One of the many memories that stand out for me, was the joy on his face, when he was able to leave the hospital, when I saw him on the street, out in the garden - where he loved to be, I ran up to him and embraced him - our dear friend, despite his failing health, embraced me back, smiled, took off his baseball hat, and laughed that his barber had taken too much off the top. Jerry loved life, and he loved his family, in particular his favourite people in the world, his children - who he spoke of often - Mark, you have the same smile as your Dad - share it often, through you he lives on.
