Keith E. Flesch, 84, of Ossian passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was born on June 11, 1933 in Potosi, Wisconsin, a son of the late Ted and Bertha (Koeller) Flesch. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 until 1961. He worked for Phillips Electronics, GE, Peter Eckrich & Sons, Aviso and Outlook Packaging. He enjoyed golfing with friends at Timber Ridge, playing cards, fishing, and spending time with family. He belonged to the American Legion and was a charter member of the “Under the Tree Club”.
He will be remembered as a responsible and loving father /grandfather, an innovative engineer, a fierce competitor on the golf course, and a person who consistently strove to self –improve in everything he did.
Surviving family include his wife, Josie; sons, Brian (Karen) Flesch, Anthony (Penny) Flesch; daughter, Rita (John) Markey; son, David (Ronda) Flesch; 10 grandchildren, two great grandsons; sister, Phyllis Ward; brother, Richard Flesch; and aunts, Dorothy and Lucille Koeller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his sister, Maxine Johnston. Gathering of family and friends will be 2-4 pm on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian.
