Wishing God's comfort to all of Marilyn's loved ones in the loss of one so dear. We graduated high school together and saw each other only by chance occasion in the years thereafter. She always remained the same lovely person and brought a lot of good into the world by her actions and sweet smile.

I was so shocked to read of Marilyn's passing--I had not seen her for a long time but we had alot of fun in high school sharing our kids activities at Norwell. My daughter Betsy was in Katie's class and my son Brian was in Lisa's class. I also remember all the beautiful flowers on the north side of her home each summer--gorgeous impatients (may not have spelled it correctly) She really had a "green thumb"
Anyway, my heart goes out to her family and my prayers are that your faith in God will help you today and always. God Bless You............Susan Gaines

I am so grateful that I had the chance to work with Marilyn in the Presby kids after school program several years ago. I already knew her from Church but got to know her much better during that time. I enjoyed hearing about her kids and grandkids and day to day life. Looking back, I feel like that is when we became friends and I feel so lucky because of that! I will miss her greatly...

Doug and family,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all, and I pray that God will comfort you in the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother.
I worked with Marilyn at OES and also was part of the group of teachers/assistants, along with Marilyn that went out every few months, usually to East of Chicago for dinner, to visit and catch up with each other and our families.
Marilyn was a very kind and graceful lady, and I valued her friendship. I will greatly miss her.
