Joanne was born May 20, 1932 in Columbia, PA to Joseph and Nell Dennison. Her strong Catholic faith was evident by her 50 year membership with St. Pius X Catholic Church. Joanne was very proud of her Irish / Pennsylvania Dutch heritage and was an avid book reader. She spent many hours crocheting and making blankets for all her grandchildren. Her most favorite times were those spent with her sisters at the lake, traveling on their many trips together and the few winters they spent together in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lynch Jr. and daughter, Eileen Lynch. She is survived by her son, Pat Sr. and his children: Katie and Patrick Jr.; son, Mike and his son, Conall; son, Jerry and wife, Lisa and their children: Kelsey, Kyle, and Danielle; daughter, Julie Peterson and her children: Nick and Conor Payne and Aidan and Ronan Peterson, and Eileen’s children: Lizz and John Cook. She is also survived by sisters, Therese Helm and Barbara Morgan and her husband, Harold, as well as her sisters-in-law, Bernie Gabel, Josie Lynch and Mary Lynch. She had many wonderful nieces and nephews and extended family members that rounded out a very large, loving family that she cared for dearly.
