Paula Fay Keene Hoffmann, 71, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away November 20, 2018.

Paula was born on December 26th 1946 to Willis Dee Keene & Ruby Jean Smith, she was the oldest child of 10 brothers and sisters.

She was a wife madly in love with her husband Ward Hoffmann, a loving supportive momma to her two children Michelle Moore and Brian Messmer and many other sons and daughters not of her blood but of whom she claimed as her own. A doting grandmother and great grandmother, a thoughtful Aunt and Sister and a devoted friend to many. She is survived by so many family and friends who loved her and will miss her. She was a strong woman with a daredevil feisty spirit and a courageous soul who never gave up and saw the positive in everything and everyone. She was loved a bushel and a peck to infinity and beyond.

Her celebration of life visitation will be held 12pm - 4pm, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123.

Every family get together Paula made sure I got a hug, it really made my Thanksgiving and Christmas, when I told her she didn't need to do that she said "everyone needs a hug" you would be surprised how much that means to you when you spend most days alone. She even ordered me out of my car once just to make sure I had gotten a hug. LOL God I am gonna miss her. I was told I have to work Saturday so if I cannot attend I am truly sorry please know I love you guys.

For the family of Paula, we are sending our condolences to you and your families. It' always so hard to loose a loved one at the holidays. Please remember the good times with Paula with a smile not a tear. I think that's what she would want.
Our sympathy,

I remember all the fun overnight parties we had with Paula. I remember putting potato chips under her, for falling asleep first. The long late night walks we took ( Our parents didn’t know about). The Christmas Eve’s we spent together with both families. How happy she looked with Ward . Ward thank you for taking care of my cuz Paula. Lots of hugs!!

Paula and I met when we worked together at Prescription Solutions in Overland Park in 2006. The job could be stressful at times and she gave the best shoulder massages! She was a very caring person and loved her friends and family fiercely! When she met Ward, her life changed so much! She was so happy and thankful that he came into her life! She would always say how blessed she was to have met him! When she found out she had cancer, she dug deep and fought hard every step of the way! She never gave up! You touched so many lives and you are so loved! I will miss your smile my friend! Love you P!
