Vincent S. Jacobo, 97, Kansas City, MO, passed away June 24, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM, Friday, June 28, 2013, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Road, Roeland Park, KS. Preceding the Mass, the Rosary will be prayed at 9:45, followed by visitation from 10-11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Inurnment at Leavenworth National Cemetery will take place at a later date.

Vincent was born April 5, 1916 in Leon, Guanajuto, Mexico, the eldest of 10 children to parents Sabino and Felisa (Amaro) Jacobo. He attended and graduated from school in Kanopolis, KS. Vincent enlisted in the US Army and served overseas during WWII. Following his discharge, he met and married Domitila (Tillie) Anaya and they made their home in Kansas City. Vincent was employed at Thompson-Hayworth, and Kuhlman Dyecasting until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by: his parents and six sisters. He is survived by: his wife of 65 years, Tillie; step-daughter, Linda Barrett; granddaughter, Mignon Nance; great grandson, Barrett Nance; two brothers and two sisters. Arrangements: McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS.
