As I grew up going to the Liberty St church in Meriden, I always enjoyed Carlos Lorenzo Sr's music. His loved to play his quitar for the Lord. I remembered him making those plastic sofa covers. Well my brother Carlos now you're at peace. I'm sure you'll be playing your quitar up in heaven. Like Billy said, until we meet again. Rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the family.

As I sit here watching the return of remains of The Korean War off cargo planes, I flip around, see this obituary of Uncle Carlos on facebook, read that Uncle Carlos was an aircraft mechanic, and it hits me that he was a "Hero" to our King, Country, and Family... I Love You Uncle Carlos, Titi Fela, Judy, Billy, and Carlos Jr. I'm sorry I can't make-it to pay my respects, but my thoughts and prayers are with you all!..

A man of integrity, courage and love
The life of an American Hero
Now resides up above

He lived to protect
And served with compassion
Years of fighting
To his death, was his passion.

One day we will see him again
Unknowing of that day,
Only God knows when...
