Edward J. Ahearn

He was born in New York, NY, the son of Patrick and Catherine Ahearn. A brother to: Mimi, Danny, Catherine, Patrick, and John.

He was a Lt. FDNY firefighter for 33 years, at Ladder 42, in Bronx, NY. He was also a proud U.S. Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, June Ahearn; daughter, Betty; and grandchildren: Jeannie, Erin, Lauren, and Christopher. He was a great-grandfather to: Kevin, Katie, Emily, Julia, Amelia, Connor, Jaxon, and Vivianna. He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Debbie.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018, at 1pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 5330 Babcock St NE, Palm Bay, Florida 32905. The viewing will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 4pm - 8pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home located at 7359 Babcock St. SE Palm Bay, Florida. Luncheon to follow after mass at Fountainhead Funeral Home from 2pm - 4pm.

There will be an additional memorial service in New York to be announced at a later date.
