Albert Stern, 84, passed away June 9, 2019 in Palm Harbor. He is survived by his wife, Marianne, of 26 years; daughter, Robin (Julie) Paradis-Stern; son, Marc Stern; Stepson, Paul Welford; stepdaughter, Anne-Marie (Jason) Toryk; sister, Maura (Joel) Surnamer; sister-in-law, Jane Proffit; brother-in-law, John Tabbener; grandchildren, Jessie, Zoe, Jordyn and Chasye; and many cousins and friends. Albert served in the Chemical Corp of the US Army spending time in Alabama and New Jersey. He worked on the NY Stock Exchange for 30 years and served as Governor in the latter years. Albert was an avid tennis player with the Innwood Country Club, squash player, racewalker and was known to always have a newspaper in hand first thing in the morning. He enjoyed travelling with Marianne and visited many places in Europe, including, England, France, Italy, Holland and Belgium. The family would like to show their gratitude and thanks to the Suncoast Hospice aides and nurses who diligently stayed by Albert and their side. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alberts name may be made out to Wounded Warriors and/or Amputee Coalition.

We are so sad to hear about Albie. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Marianne, Paul and the family. He always made us laugh with his stories and witty come-backs. So fun to banter with! Rest in peace buddy.
