During his teenage years he sang and played guitar as a vaudeville act in various theaters in Los Angeles including the Orpheum Theater. He also acted in some serial movies during the ‘30s. He is also a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Tony enjoyed being busy, even in retirement. He went to college receiving a BA in Business Administration at the age of 80 from Phoenix University. Tony’s Naval service to his country was of great pride to him and that service transitioned to his civilian life as well. He was a registered Scouter of the Boy Scouts of America for over 70 years, receiving the Silver Beaver in 1968. He was a 40 plus year member of the Knights of Columbus sitting in most positions including Faithful Navigator. He was born in the 1920s, lived through the depression, experienced three wars. Never complained, always celebrated life, despite all of the tribulations. His family was always his prime concern. Tony gave more than he ever received.
