He was born August 12, 1935, in Orange, N.J., the son of the late James Hall and Mary Josephine (Bott) Roff.
Bill graduated from Parkersburg Bible College with a Master’s Degree in Theology. He also graduated from Lehigh University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Bill worked as an Accountant for Borg-Warner Corporation and then as a Financial Manager for General Electric Corp where he retired with 27 years of service. He was a member of Spreading Truth Ministries Apostolic Church and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, baseball, football, hockey, boxing and spending time with his grandchildren of which he loved and adored.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years Myra A. Roff; daughters Danielle Allen and her husband Mark of Lowell, OH, Yvette Cunningham of Washington, WV, Sonja Roff of Washington, WV; sister Lynn Osbourne of Roseville, Minnesota; grandchildren Breanne Allen, Savannah Farley and her husband Wade, Lauren Allen and one great grandchild Brecker Farley.
Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Ralph Tisdale officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Spreading Truth Ministries Building Fund, 1093 Core Road Parkersburg, WV 26101.
