Francene K Davis

Leola “Francene” Kelley Davis passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 70. She was born July 5, 1951 in Brewton, Alabama to Charles Lewis Kelley and Virginia Christine Allen. Francene grew up in Florida and live her last 30+ years in the Pasadena area. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. She retired from Bayshore Medical Center after 23 years of employment. Francene love soccer and coached the sport with Sam Rayburn High School with the Lady Texan as well as with Special Olympics Texas on the local and international level. Her memory will be cherished for her work in the sport.

Her family and friends will deeply miss her. Francene is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Marie Rochefort (Kelley), and her loving husband, Michael Allen Davis, Sr.

She is survived by her brothers, Ken Kelley and Paul Kelley; sister, Brenda Godfrey; brother-in-law, Jimmy Rochefort; Neice, Jennifer Rochefort, Charlotte Kelley, and Misty Kelley; nephew, Christopher Rochefort and Wayne Kelley; three stepchildren, Michael Davis, Jr., Marci (Davis) Reyna, Ana Davis; 8 step grandchildren, Jordan Douglas, Noah Carmen, Lacey Reyna, Zachary Reyna, Melody Reyna, Michael Davis III, Ryan Davis, and Abigail Davis.

Graveside service will be held at Grandview Funeral Home and Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery at future date as it was her wishes to be cremated and then laid to rest. In lieu of flowers/usual remembrances donation in memory of Francene may be made to Special Olympics Texas at 5800 Mesa Dr., Houston, TX 77028 or to her home church, Peace Lutheran Church, 6435 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX.
