Gaylen Lee Gibson Sr., 72, of Pasadena, Texas, went to be with our Lord on May 11th, 2018. He was born January 8th, 1946, in Vallejo, California. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Kathye Harlien Gibson; their son Gaylen Lee Gibson Jr. And wife Robin of Sandia, Texas; son Gary Dee Gibson of Houston, Texas; and Tonya Kaye Gibson Stinson and husband Duane of Pasadena, Texas. He was a loving Grandpa to his five grandchildren, Abigayle Gibson Hansen (husband Jacob) Gaylen Lee Gibson III, Clayton Duane Stinson, Kaytlin Kaye Stinson, and Cody Lane Stinson. Great Grandpa to Blake Thomas Hansen along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gaylen was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Opal Carr and Meryle Vernon Gibson of Corpus Christi, Texas. Gaylen was an avid deep sea fishermen and was part of the shark and Sport fishing Association. He spent 43 years changing the Houston skyline as an ironworker for local union #84. Gaylen was a man of few words, he had a heart of gold, and he never knew a stranger. He enjoyed traveling and visiting his relatives with his wife. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and Neighbors. He will forever be missed but his family is comforted knowing that he is fishing with our Lord. He will be remembered by many and is loved by all.
