

Lois Elliott (Granny) 97, of Deer Park, Texas, went peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Lois was born on July 12, 1917 to Garvin and Lovie Baker in Lovelady, TX. Granny was a homemaker, seamstress and taught sewing for the Singer Company at Sears for many years. She was a talented quilter with each quilt being hand stitched with love. She had one person Quilt show displaying over twenty of her quilts at the Waterford, where she resided for many years. She enjoyed her games and was very lucky at Bingo and 42.
Lois was preceded in death by her death by her husband of 62 years Earl Elliott; her sons, Cubby Wayne Elliott, Jack Elliott and daughter-in-law Dorothy Elliott; daughter, Patsy Green and son-in-law, Charles Green; grandsons, Dan Elliott; Craig MacArthur and grandson-in-law, David King.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Colleen Lesch; granddaughters, Denise Jones and husband Greg, Denee Modgling and husband Mark, Donna Ditta and husband Mike, Sherry King, Debra Painter and husband Mike; granddaughter-in-law, Robin MacArthur; granddaughters, Megan Clements and husband Brandon, Heather DePasquale and husband John; great grands, Ray Holden and wife Natasha, Doug Holden and wife Shannon, Courtney Belcik and husband Michael, Megan King, April Painter and wife Nan, Kennedy DePasquale, Kyleigh, Logan and Luke Clements; great-great grands, Harley, Jack, Luke, Jarrett, Blake, Harper Holden and Dakota Painter.
A memorial service will be held at Waterford in Deer Park, 201 McDermott in the Activity room at 1:00 pm on April 19th.
