Blanche Hamilton Jines

Blanche Marie Hamilton Jines of Brandon passed from this life Wednesday, November 14, 2012, one day shy of her 96th birthday.

Visitation is 9:30-10:30am Friday, November 16, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services will follow at 11:00am in Lakewood South Cemetery, Jackson.

She was born Wednesday, November 15, 1916 in Allenville, Missouri, a daughter of the late Elmer J. Hamilton and Anna Krurger Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman R. Jines; step-son, Charles S. Jines; grandson, Shannon C. Jines; and 5 brothers.

Survivors include son Robert L. Jines and wife Paula; son, Donald E. Jines; brother, Edward Hamilton; sisters, Betty Hensley and Bernadine Timmerding; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS 39157.

I like to remember the times down at their house in New Concord, Ky. I used to look forward to going there, to see her, uncle Sherman and grandma. She was an amazing Aunt and one hell of a good cook!!!Love you and miss you
