OBITUARY

Duncan Navarre Pigott

June 14, 1999April 15, 2021

Duncan Navarre Pigott, 21, of Pearl, died at home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

He was born in Jackson, MS, on June 14, 1999. Throughout his short life he lived in many places including Denver, CO, Rhode Island, and Chattanooga, TN, all made possible because of the work his mother, Amber, did as a traveling nurse. Partly due to this extensive travel Duncan didn't have as many "life long" friendships as others his age, but those who were lucky enough to call him "friend" knew a strong and loyal friendship they will not soon forget.

Duncan's favorite past times included hanging out with friends, playing video games or just riding, talking, and playing music. Duncan also played guitar, spending many hours teaching himself several popular songs. He would often break out his guitar and "warm up" with Black Sabbath's "Iron Man".

As a child Duncan wanted to become a chef, and spent time learning to cook, developing his talent in the kitchen. But as he grew and became more confident in his mechanical aptitude, he began working on cars, which remained one of his passions. He worked for E-Fire Southern as a technician at the time of his passing.

Duncan was preceded in death by his mother, Amber Swilley Pigott. He is survived by his father, William Pigott; sister, Lexi Pigott; niece, Lillian Pigott; his canine companion, Porch; and numerous friends and acquaintances.

A Celebration of Duncan's Life will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.

Sweet Duncan, the years I knew him his mother was married to David Jones, who Duncan loved with all his heart. The times we were all together the happiness in his heart was obvious to all around him. Loved that young man and so sorry his life ended too soon. I know he is loving being with his momma again, Amber JONES , what a reunion they are having, that gives me comfort. I so regret I haven't talked to him in a few years, just wish I could hug him one more time. I love you Duncan, wish I could give you one more haircut 😘. You were always my buddy ❤️❤️
