Betty Jane Gillis

She was born April 1, 1923 in Peoria, Illinois to William and Ida (Tucker) McConnell. She married Carl A. “Babe” Olsen and he preceded her in death. She later married Milford W. Gillis March 10, 1973 in Pekin and he preceded her in death. Her parents, three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty worked as a waitress for various restaurants in the area.

Cremation will be accorded and burial of the urn will be at Lakeside Cemetery at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
