Gladys J. "Glady" Berchtold

She was born June 5, 1930. She married John E. Berchtold on February 27, 1949 in St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Manito. He preceded her in death December 1, 2011 in Manito. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Helen Massa, and a nephew, Larry Massa.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna (Bobbie) Woll of Manito; granddaughter, Monica (Kirk) Garman of Manito; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Braden Garman; sister, Dorothy Hilst of Pekin, and several nieces and nephews.

Gladys was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Manito and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

A funeral service will be Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Manito. Rev. James Batchelor will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Green Valley Cemetery. Davison-Fulton-Woolsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
