Paul T Foster

Born December 31, 1923 in Peoria to William and Lillian (Litchenberg) Foster, he married Laverne M. Roth on November 20, 1943 in Peoria.  She died August 19, 1966, on her 41st birthday.  He also was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are two sons, Paul W. (Sandy) Foster of Morton and Gary L. (Donna) Foster of Missoula, Montana; one step-son, Steven (Carolyn) of Seaford, Delaware; four step-daughters, Sandy (Larry) of Creve Coeur, Donna Burger of Metamora, Kathy Noel of Pekin and Teri Travato of Ardmore, Oklahoma; twenty six grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren;  and nineteen great-great grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria.

He worked for Peoria Packing Company and McDougal and Hartman Construction, where he retired as a teamster.

He loved hunting, fishing and travelling.  He travelled all over the United States and toured the Phillipines and Italy.

He will be loved and missed dearly by family, friends, and all who knew him.

His memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.  Pastor Kurt Mews will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
