Pauline Hartsock

June 13, 1940 – March 12, 2018

Pauline Hartsock, 77 of Pelham, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018. Pauline was born in Beverly, Kentucky and graduated from Red Bird Mission High School. She enjoyed gardening and listening to banjo music. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Hartsock is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Hartsock; parents, Matthew and Sally Saylor; brothers, Denver Saylor, Richard Saylor and Ralph Saylor; and sister, Nellie Faye Slusher. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard L. Hartsock; son, Eric W. Hartsock; daughter, Andrea L. Carter (Jimmy); sister, Nettie Louise Messer; and grandchildren, Amanda Carter and Matthew Hartsock. Also left to cherish her memory is Ali Wesson, her “honorary” granddaughter.

The celebration of Pauline’s life will begin with a visitation from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 10am on Tuesday morning, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
