I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Annie Lee. She was my 1st cousin. Her Father, John Gates, was my Mother, Maggie Zell Gates Wilson's, brother. I shall always remember fondly visiting Aunt Mary, Uncle John, and their children when growing up in Pensacola.
Helena and I were at Pensacola High at the same time. Regretfully, I have not been in touch with the family in many years, but I have beautiful memories of them and their kindness to so many. I remember Annie Lee as a very kind person; it's good to know she lived a long life in service to her many friends and the Lord.
My sisters, Louise and Flora, and I send our love and prayers to the family.

To the Yonker Family:
You are in our prayers at this time, it is hard to lose a wife/mother, Annie Lee was a cousin of our family, she was so good to me when I and Faye were younger. And was at the memorial service she was loved by many people and was so active in her church. And like so many at the services said she is with the Lord now and very happy.
Love to the family

Dear Faye,
I am saddened to read about your Mother's passing. I remember her fondly as a very loving and caring Mom; and one I wished many times I could have had. Hugh and I regret missing her memorial service (saw the paper too late this morning.) Our thoughts are with you and your family. Friends always, Pat(Crain) and Hugh Watson.
