OBITUARY

Carol Ann Schofield

July 24, 1939November 29, 2019

Carol Ann Wright Schofield 80, peacefully passed away Friday November 29, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Carol was born in Pensacola, Fl. on July 24,1939 to Mary Barrow and El Wright. She grew up in Crestview, Florida and graduated from Crestview High School. She married her first love and raised her family in Crestview. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 63 yrs Jerry L. Schofield; one son, Mike Schofield (Cindy Platt); and their children Ryan and Kelly; one daughter Shari Curtis (Michael); and their daughter Savanna; one brother Tommy Grantham (Patricia); and two sisters, Linda Mattingly (Jimmy) and Diane Harris (Mike); and numerous nieces nephews and cousins. Carol was very loved by many people. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services and a short visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Friday Dec. 6, 2019 at 8:30 am, with a burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. A Memorial service and celebration of Carol's life will be held Friday evening at Lifepoint Church in Crestview at 5:30pm.

Carol Grantham, as I knew her, while attending high school together, was always filled with joy. If you wanted to enjoy a laugh, and especially to hear her "laugh," you enjoyed being around her. She had that infectious laugh and spirit.
I am so sorry that she has departed this earth, but we will see her again. My sympathies to her husband and children.
