Doris J. Guenthner

1934-2018

Doris Jane Guenthner, 83 of Pensacola, FL passed away September 12, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

Doris was born on October 30, 1934 in Louisville KY to John A. and Louella Moore.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William (Bob); four children: Bruce Lowery (Terry), Lue Massicotte (Greg), Bill Guenthner (Kim) and Anita Guenthner; six grandchildren and one great grandchild: Brittany Ryan (Charlie), Taylor Guenthner, Jessica Lowery, Kyle Cousins, Kelsy and Chase Massicotte and Bellamy Ryan.

She is also survived by her brothers: John Allen Moore and his wife Barbara of Louisville KY; Jay Moore of Robertsdale AL; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL, on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00.

The family would like to express appreciation for the loving care of the nurses and staff at Life Care Center of Pensacola.
