Very sweet soul!! I remember her at Ensley Alliance Church! Always smiling! Church was my escape from a tough home life! What a didn’t get from home I received from this sweet lady! She always told me I was “ a leader”. Getting that encouragement made the difference in my life! Of course there were a few others, but Mrs Gardner I count as someone I will forvever remember, love and thank for her support! She made a difference in my life! Prayers for the family!

We just learned of Peggy's passing today. We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad were so influential and helpful to us in our ministry in Pensacola at Ensley Alliance Church. They always had a word of encouragement and a smile to share. They were very helpful to us as we were new in ministry. They shared their years of experience with us.

They will be dearly missed, but thank God, we will see them again! We rejoice that they are now reunited in the presence of the Lord. They were good and faithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many lives were touched and many are in the Kingdom because of them.

With Love, Rev. Tom & Cindy Hicks
