OBITUARY

Matthew Aaron Lanham

November 23, 1996March 10, 2020

Matthew Aaron Lanham, age 23, of Navarre, Florida, returned home to Jesus on March 10, 2020. He was born to Abby Doyle in Roseburg, Oregon on November 23, 1996.

Mathew touched and inspired so many people. His disabilities and health problems never stopped him from being a beacon of unconditional love. Matthew was a great example of perseverance and inner strength, as he continued to fight battles with his health and limitations that would crush many of us. Through his vulnerabilities, he gave us insight. He showed us his beautiful soul and continually taught us love, patience, kindness, and forgiveness.

Matthew had a great sense of humor and his laugh was contagious. Matthew was humble, unconditional, and full of grace. He was an earthbound angel. His smile would light up a room and he did that often. He went along for anything and everything most of the time. He enjoyed meeting people, pinches, water, snuggles, warm blankets from the dryer, sweet treats, food, camp fires, boat rides, anything “gross” and being cozy. He liked music, Trip Smith, Ancient Aliens, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Blue’s Clues, and never stopped loving Winnie The Pooh.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Abby and Jamie Doyle, and his siblings, Ryan and Andrew.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. We will be doing a coral reef tree memorial in his honor in Navarre, Florida.
