Beverly Dagit, 79, of East Peoria, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Morton Villa in Morton.
She was born November 1, 1938 in Peoria to William and Alice (Farley) Bamber. She married Richard M. Dagit on February 14, 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter Betty Gilman, her parents, three sisters, Carolyn Gorman, Eileen Close and Betty Bamber; and one brother, Lyle Bamber.
She is survived by two sisters, Martha Harms and Elsa Toft; one brother Walter Bamber, step-daughter Judy Efnor, eleven grandchildren, including Trina (David) Downing who took care of her, and several great-grandchildren.
Beverly worked as a CNA and Personal Assistant with Circle of Life Home Care and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Bible Church in Peoria. She was a member of Neighborhood House and Peoria Tuesday & Wednesday Club.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. The Rev. Garry Geer will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery.
