I met Dana for the very first time at a women’s group, and was just so touched by her kindness, strength, and faith. She had a way of just meeting eyes with another, and allowing them to know that they were truly seen by her. I had no idea that she went into hospice , and my heart and prayers are with her entire family. While heaven may be all the richer for receiving her, this world will forever have the echoes of her life lived well resounding in it.

I haven't seen Dana in years, but regardless of the time and distance, she will forever own a very special place in my heart. Dana was a part of my life as long as I can remember and was one of my best friends during our high school years. Our small band of musketeers were inseparable. The time we spent together was always filled with adventure, fun, shenanigans and doubled-over laughter until our stomachs' could handle no more. Dana's gravely laugh will be forever imprinted in my mind and my heart is broken over the loss of my smart, independent, funny, strong-willed, beautiful friend. Much love and gratitude to Dana and her family for the memories. Sending my heartfelt condolences. I love you all and my heart is with you.

In the short 3 1/2 years that I've known Dana and her family she had become family to me. We met through a mutual friend who was struggling with cancer. Through this God brought us close. My husband and I became part of their small group bible study on Sunday nights. In Dana I saw a strong woman of faith and one who always made others feel important to her no matter what was going on in her own life. She always took time to listen and pray even while facing her own struggles. I will miss her smile, her laugh, her prayers and words of encouragement to me and my family. Our love and prayers to Will, Chloe,Max, David& Holly, Judy & Ron. Praying for God's peace and comfort now and in the days ahead. Jay & Carol

I’m so blessed to call Dana my friend. She was such a positive influence for all she met. She was always there for me, taking time out of her busy life to be my friend. She included Jack on so many family activities such as Illinois football games, climbing, a memorable float trip, many sleepovers and play dates. She lived her life for her lord and her family. She’s at peace, I pray for those who will miss her shining light.

I met Dana when I was 21 and she was 32. I remember being in awe of her. She was so classy. So put together. So charismatic. And so welcoming. She had no idea that she helped set my standard of what a strong woman was. Over the years, our paths would cross again and again and i felt so blessed to get to have her in my life. Watching her raise Chloe and Max was such a treat. She was a REAL mom. She didnt always sugarcoat things, but she was ALWAYS so proud and loving when it came to her kids.

Will, Chloe, and all will be in my prayers and on my heart. I am so sorry for the loss that you are experiencing.

First, to the family, friends and loved ones of Dana, I pray that your grief be swift and healing and that your sweet memories be forever cherished in your hearts and souls forever. I came to know Dana through my brother. She was not only one of the kindest and sweetest people I've ever met, she was also so sincere in all that she did, She was the type of person that did the hardest tasks and gave 1,000 %, yet she still managed to make it look so easy. She always had a ready smile and a kind word for everyone no matter where or when. We here on Earth may have lost one of the sweetest ladies we have ever known, but the Heavens are celebrating the receiving of one of the sweetest of Angels they have ever received, She will be easy to find when we miss her. as all we will have to do is look to the sky for the brightest star. That will be Dana. Rest in perfect peace sweet girl.

Will, Chloe & Max, may the Spirit comfort you with love and the knowledge that Dana is waiting for you all in the company of her Savior and the rest of the Saints.
We all lost a wonderful friend and devoted Patriot who supported many in Peoria who patiently waited while spouses and children deployed after 9-11. We will sure miss her smiles and laughs.

I have so many good memories of Dana it's hard to pick just one. My heart and prayers to Ron and Judy as well as Rod and the kids. She came on a family vacation one year to Canada. We had so much fun. My family had always enjoyed her and her laugh. Although life had taken different roads we always just picked right back up. I'm blessed to have known and love her and know she is with our God. RIP beautiful. Until we meet again.
