James Zilio of Cambridge, passed away peacefully, in the presence of his loving family at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, Cobourg on Friday May 7, 2021 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Blackstock) for 60 years who passed away in August 2020. He is survived by his loving son; Dean Zilio and his wife Janet of Newcastle, granddaughters; Michelle (Graeme) Carbert of Ottawa and Becca (Steve) Orban of Newcastle.
Predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Antonio Zilio, by sister Marion Davison (late Cliff), brother Alex (late Doris), brother Tony (Elaine) and sister Betty Stafford (late Max). Survived by sister Neretta Cummings (late Wes) of Sandy Lake, Alberta, brother Bill (Doris) of Chatham, sister Gloria Sargent (Don) of Caledon and sister Shirley of Lakefield.
He will also be missed by his beloved grand dogs; Murphy, Lucy and Bruno. In accordance with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place.
