Here we are again. Another year. I know you of all people feel this time of year with a longing to see Barb again. Sharing her favorite Thanksgiving meal. Listening to hilarious comments and conversation. Laughing until you need pain meds for your stomach. I am still so sorry for your loss.

Beverly and Diane, For over 37 year Barbara has been my best friend aswell as my soul sister and I will never forget her. I want you both to no  that she was  there when my mother died and when my son Ryan was born I'm truly sorry that I was not there for her but I pray that she didn't suffering  and also wanted to tell you both that one day I hope that I will see her again in heaven . She ment the world to me.  No one will ever take her place in my heart and soul. A part of me died when i found out she passed away and i  wishes i was there for her but I no now that it to late. But I want you too both to no that I loved her so much and I thought about her everyday. So please believe me that I will truly miss her and i hope that you both and your bother are okay. All three of you will always be in my heart and soul aswell as part off my family.

I had the privilege - and I do sincerely mean privilege-  of being one of Barbara’s roommates when we attended UT in the 1970’s.  She was a stellar roommate and friend and I will never forget her. 

To put it simply, Barbara always managed to make life fun.  Her natural sense of humor brightened our days and was truly one of her greatest gifts.  She had a passion for music and you could hear the latest and greatest tunes blasting from our apartment.  She had an innate design sense and created lovely spaces in all the college homes we shared.  Barbara was a vibrant,  positive presence in the world in so many uncountable ways.  I feel extremely blessed to have had her in my life during those years.

Diane, I am so sorry for the loss of  your  sister. I remember meeting her, when she lived off Blue Bonnet Circle.  You both had a similar sense of humor and seemed very close. I know you were so close to her children as well. We both had a sister approximately 10 years older than us...and I remember that relationship you had with her, and the commonalities it had with me and my sisters. I am so saddened by your loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. 

I first met Barbara when I moved into Blanton dorm at UT Austin in 1972. My room was directly opposite hers and her roommate, Mary Jettun. My first day, i heard Peter Frampton blaring from her room... we were instant friends. We lived together w/ several roommates for three years..She was hilarious, smart, clever, and ambitious. I have so many stories to tell... where does one begin. I am so sorry shes gone. She WILL be missed. Pls let me know more about her... i lost touch. Connie

So sorry to hear of our Nolan classmate and high-energy cheerleader's passing. May Barbara Rest In Peace. 

I recall Barbara was a warm, talented and fun person.  She will be missed.  May she rest in peace.
