Billie Jeanne Best

She was married in July 1950 to William Earl “Bill” Best who preceded her in death, June 4, 2011.

Billie was a loving mother to; David Best (Tammi), John Best (Maurey), grandmother to Cathryn Arbogust Beers, George Arbogust (McKenzie), Cheryl Best Moss (Bill), Quincy Gonzalez, Blake Best, Dylan Best, and Great Grandmother to Nicholas, Grace, Alexander Beers, and Christian Nevinger; son-in-law, Kevin Goeke .

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Jeannette Goeke.

Billie joined the Army in November of 1949 and served until July 1950 when she married Bill and started raising a family. Billie spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother. Billie was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Billie enjoyed spending time with her physical and spiritual family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Gabriel Oaks Church of Christ, 408 West Morrow Street, Georgetown, Texas 78626. Mr. Jim McDonald will be officiating and interment will follow at Cook Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
