Born November 11, 1941, in Yorktown, Texas, Luciano was the son of Trinidad (Gonzales) Cavazos and Luciano Cavazos. An entrepreneur from an early age, Luciano was known in the area for his trucking business. He also loved being outside on his ranch. He truly loved his wife and family and cared for them with his whole heart. He and his wife Teodora were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Austin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Trinidad Cavazos; brother, Isabel Cavazos; and sisters, Celedonia Cavazos Artiaga and Candelaria Cavazos Cardona.
Luciano is survived by his loving wife, Teodora of Round Rock, Texas; his son, Larry Cavazos; his two daughters, Lorina Cavazos Garza and husband, Valente Garza, Jr. and Loretta Cavazos. He is also survived by one brother, Jesus Cavazos; three sisters, Anita Cavazos Hernandez, Odelia Cavazos Avalos, Hisidra Cavazos Hilburn; fourteen (14) grandchildren and seven (7) great-grandchildren; along with other loving family and many friends.
Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 24, 2020 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas with the Rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m.
A Liturgy of the Word service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2020, at the funeral home. All other services will be private.
Due to the current COVID protocols, guests are required to wear protective face masks at all times and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.
The Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel is limited to 50 people in attendance of all visitations and services because of the COVID protocols. In keeping with the Cavazos’ family request, NO CHILDREN SHOULD ATTEND for health protection.
