Esther Mandujano, a beacon of unwavering faith and boundless love, passed into the arms of the Lord on February 14, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on September 3, 1956, Esther's life was a testament to the strength of spiritual conviction, the joy of living, and the power of family bonds.
Throughout her life, Esther cultivated a sacred space within her home, where God's presence was palpable. Her children fondly recall the resonance of her voice in prayer, the melody of worship songs that filled their home, and the spiritual guidance she provided through daily scripture readings. Esther firmly believed in putting God first, instilling in her family the importance of faith and the serenity it brings to life's challenges. Even in her final moments, Esther's faith never wavered. She praised God, embodying the strength and peace that come from a life devoted. Her resilience, rooted in her belief, was a source of inspiration for all who knew her. Beyond her spiritual life, Esther was a vibrant soul who embraced the beauty of the world with open arms. She was an animal lover, treating every creature with kindness and compassion. Her independence and strong will were evident in every aspect of her life, from her clear sense of purpose to her ability to light up any room she entered. Esther knew what she wanted and pursued her passions with a joyful determination. A fitness enthusiast, Esther took great care of her body and mind, understanding the importance of physical well-being in order to achieve a balanced life. Esther was always the life of the party, with a natural talent for singing and dancing that brought joy to every gathering. Her playful spirit extended to riling up the family dogs, creating an atmosphere of laughter and warmth that drew everyone into her radiant sphere of influence. Above all, Esther cherished her grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she took every opportunity to shower them with affection, wisdom, and the kind of joyous moments that create lasting memories. Her spirit, characterized by a deep connection with God, a love for life, and a passion for family, will continue to inspire and guide us.
Survived with deep sorrow by two children, Jorge Luis (Erika) Negrete Jr., Tracy Lizette (Rosa Ysela) Negrete; five grandkids; sister, Elizabeth M. (Francisco) Lopez; many more family and friends.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Ma. Justina and Simon E. Mandujano; and her daughter, Veronica Yvette Cena.
A burial of ashes will be held March 21, 2024 at 11am at City of Laredo Cemetery.
