Mom was a loving wife and mother. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed oil painting, her craft work and crochet. If she didn’t know how to do something she would teach herself. She was an exceptional cook! Our Mom is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Lauro Avila Sr.; her three children, Lauro Avila, Jr., Joe Louis Avila, Debra Ann Avila; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer and scripter on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
