Stevan, may God bless your sweet soul. I remember that first semester of nursing school, we were connected at the hip. You were always there to be my nap shoulder in class! I know how much you cared for others. You have been an angel for so many patients, watching over them with care and compassion. The world needs more Stevan’s in it. I have so many great memories with you, you will be deeply missed. 

I just heard the sad news and am saddened at the loss of such a warm and caring person. Stevan worked for me in the nursing school library. He was always there for his fellow students going the extra mile to provide advice and assistance. May he rest in peace. 

We were instant friends, and had so much in common, thank you for meeting my family and sharing your story with me. This world got to see your bright light of a soul by the way you cared for other people. This place lost a good person. I will forever miss you, my friend.

I am having some trouble getting the money for the flight. It is nearly $650. I may not be able to come after all and that crushes me even more. Please forgive me. 

I loved your Stevan deeply, despite the whirlwind I have been stuck inside of. He was, for the past few months, a light in the darkness that has been my life. Without him my days are a battle.. his gift of love awoke me in so many ways.. and he inspired so many positive changes in such a short time.. his heart was pure gold. 

I fell over while crying this morning, and then I felt a strange but calming presence that lifted me up off the floor. I swear I heard his voice. I believe he’s up there somewhere doing the same good work for the Lord that he did down here. I feel it in my heart.

I am praying for him, for you, for your whole family. This is difficult to understand, but I trust that God will give meaning to this suffering.

I know that I don’t have much to offer, but I am here always if you need me. I love you for creating such a beautiful person. He brightened my world. I miss him so much. Please stay strong



Damn it bro, I don’t even know where to begin. You were like the older brother I never had man always trying to help me with anything even though you knew you didn’t have to . You were one special and beautiful person . I still remember all those times when you had just graduated from Baylor and you were sooo stoked to come back to the valley to be with the family and spend more time with us. And we had stayed up that night till like 3am loading the moving truck . I also still remember all those restless nights we had binging narcos and so many more other shows. We had a special bond brother and I’ll never forget everything you did for me .  Your one special guy who will never be forgotten I promise you Steve wonder boy .. I love you man . Thanks for believing in me even when I didn’t even believe in myself . You’ll forever be with me man . 

My beloved Cousin Where To Start I Just Want To Say I Much I’m Going To Miss You. You Had Such A Kind & Beautiful Heart. Always Looking Out For Nothing But The Best For Me. Stevan, I remember the day you came home all bundled up with that gorgeous pale skin and big beautiful eyes. Ready to take on the world. Grandma Corina kept saying “los ojitos” because you had the most beautiful eyes.  And Aunt Esmy couldn’t stop hugging her grand baby.  We all love you so much.

He was always like a breath of fresh air.  He would always hug me and pick me up off my feet and would say ‘l love you aunt Janie ‘ oh how I will miss him..
