Andrew B. Shelton, Jr., 92 of McDonough, GA passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held at 3:00 P.M. EDT, Friday August 10, 2018 at Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Shelton was born in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late Andrew B. Shelton, Sr. and Lillie Cordelia Beverly Shelton. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean conflict. He was also owner of Andy Shelton's Custom Draperies in Columbus, GA. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Webb Shelton.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Henley and Debbie Evans; six grandchildren, nine grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
